Kiliroor Community:
“I have become all things to all people that I might by all means save some”. (1 Cor 9:22). The second house of DSHJ in India is established on 6th June 1986 in Kiliroor near Kottayam. The main apostolic activities of our community are Nursery, Pastoral activities and Youth animation. We take part in all the activities of parish and in the youth animation. Through these activities we could experience the love, mercy, concern of our beloved Jesus and witness the beauty of the Charism and of the Religious life.
Nursery Ministry:
Sisters care for children, do family visits, counselling, and parent sessions.
Education:
Two Sisters teach in diocesan schools; One Sister counsels in a government school.
Parish Service:
Liturgy animation, ward prayers, Mission League, youth groups, Mathru-Pithru Vedi, church decoration, and catechism to prepare children for sacraments.
Pastoral Outreach:
Weekly family visits, hospital visits for the sick, and monthly pothichore meals for Medical College patients.
